This role can be based in Chicago and operates within a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between office and remote work. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead our integrated design team, collaborating on projects from pre-design and programming through construction administration. You will spearhead project design efforts, client interactions, and presentations, while mentoring younger staff in a respectful, collaborative environment. The suggested pay range for this position is \(102,000 - \)125,000 USD. Skills • Strong creative design and drawing skills • Capacity for conceptual design thinking • Proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and SketchUp • Familiarity with FFE specification software and producing custom specifications • Strong leadership and team-building skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong time management skills Responsibilities • Collaborate as a design team member, leading efforts throughout all phases of the design process • Set vision and direction for design concept presentations and material palettes • Provide feedback to the team for development • Mentor younger staff and support a collaborative work environment • Conduct project interviews and contribute to the growth of the Hospitality studio Qualifications • 12+ years of experience, primarily in the Hospitality market • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team • Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset • Ability to travel occasionally for project tasks • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship Education Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent Education Requirements Credential Category • Professional NCIDQ Certification preferred Experience Requirements • Significant experience in the Hospitality market, with a proven track record in project management and design leadership.
