Senior Interior Designer / Architect

Senior Interior Designer / Architect ASD|SKY San Francisco is seeking a Senior experienced interior designer to focus on commercial interiors for a growing, diverse, and entrepreneurial studio. In this position, you will join a creative, design focused, and collaborative team dedicated to creative problem solving through quality and contextual design. Candidates should have at least 8 years of relative experience. Responsibilities: • Generate program documents through client facing meetings • Create space plans • Develop and execute contextual design stories and concepts • Collaborate with team members on furniture and finish selection and construction document production • Coordinate consultant and vendor drawings • Lead/coordinate construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples • Manage client expectations, and coordinate team and consultant communications • Generate business opportunity leads for the company • Manage various sized teams • Knowledge of budget and schedule drivers both internally and externally • Participate on multiple project teams simultaneously Requirements: • 10+ year of related experience as an interior designer, with a focus on commercial interiors • Must be proficient in Revit and InDesign • Strong knowledge of the design and documentation process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials • Outstanding graphic presentation skills • Willingness to focus on multiple projects in various stages • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills • Working knowledge of Autocad, Sketch-up, and Photoshop • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture or related field • Knowledge of local code and permitting requirements Please send your letter of interest, along with your resume and a PDF portfolio sample of work, to hr@asdnet.com.
