New York, NY $100,000 - $150,000 (USD) Annually Permanent A chic downtown interior design studio, known for its sophisticated, modern aesthetic and tailored approach to high-end residential and commercial spaces, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities: • Bring fresh ideas to the team and ensure they are project-appropriate • Manage daily tasks, project schedules, and delegations for assigned projects • Assist project teams in documenting delays and managing project timelines • Lead and mentor intermediate designers • Create preliminary floor plans, furniture plans, mood boards, and budgets for new potential clients • Develop floor plans and furniture plans in CAD and prepare client presentations using InDesign • Assemble construction documentation sets, including demo plans, lighting plans, and elevations • Select plumbing, appliances, equipment, lighting, and finishes, and input information into schedules and specification packages • Attend and contribute to weekly coordination calls with contractors, architects, and installers • Source FF&E (furniture, window treatments, fabrics, wall treatments, lighting, carpeting, art accessories) • Create custom furniture drawings, oversee workroom visits, and review shop drawings • Manage job sites, coordinating electrical work, finish materials, and conducting site surveys • Maintain highly organized project management processes, ensuring team and task lists are up to date Skills & Requirements: • 6+ years of experience working at a high-end interior design firm in New York • Proven experience in team management, vendor coordination, and project scheduling • Expertise in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, and Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) • Strong interior architectural drawing and graphic presentation skills • In-depth knowledge of luxury vendors and furniture producers • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills • Strong problem-solving ability and a “can-do” attitude • High personal values and ethics, with the ability to take responsibility and set high expectations for self and team Consultant Taylor Toth Reference number: 68661 Profession: Interior Design Senior Interior Designer
