POSITION OVERVIEW As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be instrumental in leading and executing all phases of the interior design process for prestigious residential projects. Working closely with clients, architects, and project managers, you will bring visions to life by conceptualizing, planning, and implementing outstanding design solutions. Your expertise and creative insight will be crucial in enhancing the overall quality and innovation of our design portfolio. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to: • Leading the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring a remarkable experience for our clients. • Conducting in-depth client consultations to grasp their preferences and lifestyles to craft unique design concepts. • Creating detailed design proposals, including mood boards, material selections, color schemes, and furniture layouts within budgetary constraints. • Collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements into construction. • Sourcing and coordinating with vendors, artisans, and suppliers to obtain the finest materials and furnishings that align with the project vision. • Overseeing and mentoring junior designers, providing support and fostering their professional development. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field. • A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Residential Interior Designer, with an impressive portfolio of upscale projects. • Extensive knowledge of space planning, furniture design, lighting, textiles, and color theory. • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Familiarity with Mac Applications and Google Workspace is necessary. Knowledge of Studio Designer, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp is a plus. • Strong leadership and communication skills, enabling effective articulation of design concepts. • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines without compromising quality. • A network of industry connections, including vendors, suppliers, and artisans, is advantageous. • Professional certifications (e.g., NCIDQ) are desirable but not mandatory. • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is required.
