Senior Interior Design Specialist

Design Consultant roles lead a team and provide a consultative design service that builds lasting relationships with customers. Key responsibilities include meeting customer needs, educating them on all required elements, and building a creative design concept that incorporates the customer's style, lifestyle, and preferences. Main Responsibilities • Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support design walk-in needs • Schedule appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store • Advise homeowners, interior designers, and builders on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects • Create and sell complete solutions that are functional and aesthetically appealing Requirements • 6 years of interior design experience, or equivalent education and experience combination • Prior retail/sales experience preferred • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is beneficial • Proficient in basic mathematical skills and Microsoft Office suite
