Senior Designer -Restaurant/Entertainment

We are seeking a Senior Interior/Architect Designer for a commercial design firm in their Irving, TX office. The Senior Designer will be a hands-on designer for restaurant & entertainment projects, working under the Design Director. Qualifications: • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited educational program • working knowledge of building codes, ADA and life safety requirements • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Microsoft office and other applicable project related software • Hands‐on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator. • demonstrated proficiency in procedures for production of schematic design, design development and construction documents • Self‐motivated individual with demonstrated ability to take initiative and function with minimal supervision • Attention to visual details & ability to clearly communicate design concepts to clients • minimum seven (7) years of successful experience in design of and managing, multiple multi‐disciplined complex projects or multiple small projects. • Experience designing restaurant/entertainment projects required. • Professional registration is encouraged but not required.
