We are a small, fast-paced design firm located in Boulder, CO, seeking a passionate and independent Designer / Job Captain to join our team. The ideal candidate is an explorative learner with a strong interest in contemporary architecture. You will contribute to the health, development, and growth of our firm by designing and producing a variety of projects. Collaboration with other designers and the ability to synthesize big ideas into small details is essential.

Responsibilities
• Design and manage multi-family and single-family residential projects
• Oversee tenant finish projects in commercial settings, including workplace design, retail, and restaurants
• Handle capital improvement projects and existing building renovations
• Ensure compliance with zoning and building codes across various jurisdictions
• Collaborate on commercial construction projects of varying scales and scopes
• Set up Revit infrastructure as per firm standards
• Guide projects from concept through Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CD), and Construction Administration (CA)
Qualifications
• Architecture degree
• 3+ years of relevant experience in architecture
• Experience with interior Tenant Improvement (TI) projects
• Familiarity with software such as SketchUp Master, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Background in custom residential and multi-family housing design
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field

• Professional degree in Architecture
Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architecture, particularly in residential and commercial design
• Proven experience in managing projects from concept to completion
