Marina Hanisch Interiors is a published interior design firm located in Greenwich, CT, specializing in luxury high-end residential interiors. We are seeking a creative and self-motivated individual who is interested in working in a collaborative team environment on a full spectrum of projects. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented self-starters who are experienced, able to manage a team, and oversee all stages of a project independently. OVERVIEW • Designer oversees their own projects from start to finish. • Scheming and creating design presentations. • Creating and keeping track of client budgets. • Manage all details regarding day-to-day action items for projects, and communicate directly with the client. • Create Time and Action calendars to keep the project moving forward to the completion date. • Custom millwork and furniture design. Successfully communicate an idea through CAD and 3-D renderings. Supply final detailed drawings to millworker and work through to final installation. • Create detailed elevations. • Create pricing and construction documents with full detail. • Manage all aspects of the installation process. REQUIRED SKILLS : • At least 5 years of full-time experience at an interior design firm with experience managing projects. • High-level proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch-up. Ability to site survey and create floorplans. • Complete knowledge of design principles. • Extensive knowledge of furniture market and sourcing. • Meticulous with details while successfully juggling multiple tasks. • Quick learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, passion to learn, and great attention to detail. • Be a U.S. citizen, or already possess a work visa for working in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
