Senior Design Specialist

Job Title: Specialist, CAD Cable Designer Job Overview: This role involves performing a wide range of CAD design assignments in support of the cable engineering organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating models and drawings, as well as providing CAD support throughout the product development process. Key Responsibilities: • Provide CAD support (PTC Creo) throughout the product development process. • Generate and/or modify product's models, drawings, and documentation. • Support the control of digital data files and drawings. • Prepare and incorporate engineering change orders. • Input data and assure hardware structures are accurate in a Product Data Management tool. • Support resolution of problems/issues in CAD design/drawings and provide corrective actions. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. • 2+ years using PTC Creo experience. • 2+ years of AutoCAD experience. • 2+ years pin-to-pin wire modeling experience. • Experience interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams for cable designs.
