Senior Design Lead

Job Overview The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to lead a team. • This position is responsible for producing comprehensive designs that accurately convey the scope of fire protection systems. Salary Information Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Responsibilities This role involves performing design work, directing the efforts of others as needed, determining design criteria for various projects, and designing and calculating complete fire sprinkler and standpipe systems. • Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of NFPA standards • Maintaining a solid understanding of materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in installation and design processes Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 3 years of design experience (with 5 years preferred), and 3D BIM design and coordination skills. • NICET level 4 certification is preferred. Candidates should also possess strong communication, training, and planning skills, as well as a strong sense of pride, integrity, and organizational ability.
