The Sales & Marketing Associate position is full-time (40 hours/week... As a Sales & Marketing Associate, you'll play a vital role in both attracting new clients and nurturing existing relationships. While also generally assisting with duties assigned by the Principal Interior Designer and CEO, you'll work closely with the sales + marketing teams to create a seamless and engaging experience for every interaction with the Elegant Simplicity ecosystem. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, interpersonal skills, and operational know-how, with no two days ever being alike. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, has strong administrative tasks, is reliable, owns their development and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. You'll be responsible for managing leads, scheduling appointments, crafting compelling marketing content, and curating our online presence. Your work will directly impact the growth and success of Elegant Simplicity Interiors, making this a fulfilling and rewarding position for the right candidate. SECTION 3: THE OPPORTUNITY • Proactively Manage Pre-Sales Funnel including phone + email communication with new leads. • Qualify potential clients + schedule clarity calls. • Maintain lead/client records in CRM. • Answer and respond to phone calls in a polite manner • Make outbound calls to leads + send outbound emails to leads. • Communicate messages and information to the Principal Designer + CEO • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of Principal Designer + CEO • Manage + Upload Documents In Client Folders (google drive) • Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties for sales team. • Maintain confidential and sensitive information. • Attend all sales meetings and take diligent notes of discussion (delegating any tasks in project management software or CRM) • Develop engaging blog posts • Assist with the marketing calendar • Collaborate on content creation (written + video) • Schedule social media posts SECTION 4: QUALIFICATIONS : • Passion for interior design and professional organizing • A firm grasp of Elegant Simplicity's aesthetic • 1-2 years of professional experience in a sales, marketing, customer service, or administrative roles (preferred) • Bachelors degree (preferred) • Professional-level software proficiency in Word, Excel, Canva • Ability to frame and shoot video for marketing (on an iPhone) • Quick learner. You have a knack for picking up things quickly. • Must be capable of learning new computer software programs in short time • A self-starter who is proactive in asking questions + thrives in collaborative team environments while moving projects forward to completion • Organized juggler. You take a busy day in stride. You can handle multiple projects + self manage time. • Strong research skills.
