Sales Designer — Luxury Outdoor Living Spaces

📍 Full-time | Southeast Michigan Do you thrive at the intersection of creativity and client connection? Ventures is hiring a Sales Designer to help homeowners envision and bring to life high-end outdoor living spaces—from custom pools and patios to outdoor kitchens, pavilions, and full-property transformations. This is a unique opportunity to join a design-driven, collaborative team recognized for innovation, craftsmanship, and excellence in outdoor living. Our designers don’t just draw plans—they guide the entire client journey, helping turn inspiration into stunning, buildable designs. What You’ll Do • Lead clients through the design and sales process—from initial consultation to signed contract • Develop high-end design concepts and present 3D renderings using SketchUp and Lumion • Collaborate closely with our in-house build and landscape teams • Design and sell complete outdoor living environments, including: • Custom gunite pools and spas • Outdoor kitchens, pavilions, and fire features • Patios, hardscaping, lighting, and planting plans What We’re Looking For • 5+ years of experience in landscape design, outdoor living, or related field • Strong sales background with the ability to confidently guide client decisions • Experience with SketchUp, Lumion, and CAD-based software • Deep understanding of hardscape and softscape materials, construction methods, and design best practices • Strong communication skills—both visual and verbal—with an ability to present ideas clearly and inspire clients • A passion for design, innovation, and transforming outdoor spaces A degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or design is preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.
