About the position At Closet America, we are seeking a passionate and dynamic Interior Design/Sales Design Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in transforming spaces into organized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments. As a Sales Design Consultant, you will meet with prospective clients in their homes, where you will shape and sell custom organization systems for various living spaces, including closets, home offices, and pantries. This position is not just about sales; it’s about creating a positive impact on our clients' lives by enhancing their living spaces. You will be part of a motivated and high-performing culture, where your efforts directly contribute to the success of the company. With all leads provided to you, there is no need for cold calling or door knocking, allowing you to focus on what you do best—selling and designing. The role offers an uncapped commission structure, with our average Sales Design Consultant earning between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, and top performers making upwards of $200,000 annually. Responsibilities • Meet with prospective clients in their homes to discuss their needs and preferences for custom organization systems. , • Design and sell custom organization solutions for closets, home offices, pantries, and other living spaces. , • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with clients and colleagues. , • Utilize technology to design, measure, and document details accurately during consultations. , • Achieve and exceed sales quotas while overcoming objections and closing sales effectively. Requirements • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting sales quotas. , • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. , • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a positive attitude. , • Ability to quickly learn and accurately use technology for design and measurement purposes. , • Valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle. Nice-to-haves • Experience in interior design, graphic design, or home improvement-related sales. , • A passion for home decor, art, or design. , • Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, and lighting.
