Sales Associate wanted for upscale home boutique

Sales Associate Bow Street Home is a new, upscale home furnishing and decor boutique located in quaint Freeport, ME. We are looking to expand our team of Sales Associates with team players who provide excellent customer service as a top priority. We have both Full-time and Part-time positions available immediately. Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, personable, and professional with excellent attention to detail. Being proactive, but willing to learn are also preferred skills. Ideal candidates have an interest in interior design, helping to create beautiful, serene spaces, handling luxurious textiles and the finest in home accessories and decor. Required: Experience in sales, a friendly and professional disposition, and available to work at least one weekend day per week. Retail experience, some technical skill, and customer service is a must. DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: \\- Providing excellent customer service in a friendly environment \\- Overseeing daily operations of the store \\- Ensuring store cleanliness \\- Inputting, receiving, and tagging inventory BENEFICIAL SKILLS, BUT NOT REQUIRED: \\- Visual merchandising and presentation experience \\- Experience with Shopify \\- Knowledgeable of current interior design and visual merchandising trends \\- Natural collaborator, able to identify opportunities to take initiative in making merchandising and presentation adjustments \\- Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS \\- Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently \\- Bending/stooping/kneeling required \\- Climbing ladders – occasionally \\- Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed Interested?
