Ravatt, Albrecht & Associates, Inc. (RA) is a Central Coast multi-disciplinary
A/E firm founded in 1999. We provide planning, architecture, interior design,
mechanical and electrical engineering, and plumbing design to both the public
and private sector, with corporate headquarters in Old Town Orcutt (Santa
Maria) and a branch in San Luis Obispo. RA is seeking a Revit Designer/Drafter
that has experience managing BIM Models and BIM processes used in designs for
federal design-build projects throughout California, including facilities for
the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Veterans Administration. Other RA project types
include local government, schools, multi-family residential, and commercial.
This individual will be expected to work with licensed architects, designers,
engineers, project managers, military personnel, non-profit leadership, and
business owners. Some travel may be required. Remote or hybrid work a
possibility for the right candidate; however, preference will be given to
local candidates. Role and Responsibilities: • Revit drafting • BIM modeling •
3D renderings • Travel to and attend project and consultant meetings to
support the project • Provide weekly project reports to the Project Manager •
Assist with design presentation and construction document production • Assist
with coordination of project consultants and submittals Required
Qualifications: • 3+ years architectural drafting experience on facilities •
Bachelor's degree in Architecture • Extensive knowledge of BIM modeling and
BIM processes on large projects • Direct experience working with multi-
discipline project production teams • Vast knowledge of multi-discipline
design development and construction documents • Ability to prepare drawings
and details • High proficiency with Revit • Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp,
Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Lumion • Knowledge of California
Building Code and other locally enforced codes and ordinances • Ability to
perform code and regulation research • Previous experience with an
architectural and engineering firm • U.S. citizen (preference given to local
