About this role

Job Title: Retail Design Professional Description: This position plays a pivotal role in all aspects of retail design, encompassing furniture design, interior, point-of-sale collateral, and display design. The Retail Designer will be intricately linked to the company's branding and marketing strategy, serving as an extension of our internal creative services. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with the Senior Creative Director and client to interpret the design brief and develop innovative design ideas, both 2D and 3D. • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify innovative solutions. • Create detailed scale technical drawings and 3D models using computer-assisted design software. • Present conceptual ideas to internal teams and external clients, complete with costings and budget proposals. • Work with clients to educate them on the final solution and its benefits. • Consider construction, installation, and fit-out requirements while demonstrating awareness of material properties. • Follow the development of prototypes with vendors. • Ensure that designs and building work comply with relevant building and health and safety regulations. • Communicate effectively with external contractors and shop-fitters to facilitate smooth installations and deliveries. • Organize logistics for installation. • Prepare progress reports and manage projects through completion. • Manage budgets effectively. • Perform other duties as required by the job. Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: • Bachelor's degree in Retail or Architectural Design. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years' experience in architectural practice. Skills: • Expert knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Autocad, and Rhino. • Ability to work independently or take direction as needed. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Capacity to work in fast-paced environments. • Creative thinking and innovation. • Strong communication skills. • Strong follow-up skills. • Ability to multitask. • Team player. • Aloha Spirit. • Willingness to travel as needed.
