Retail Boutique Manager

Montecito Home Décor Boutique Manager Beautiful, designer boutique on Coast Village Road is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and professional manager who has a passion for sales of home décor, art and interior design. This position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit that exercises creative, collaborative and resourceful decision making. The manger will maintain a strong emphasis on customer experience, visual standards and brand representation to connect clients with unique and sophisticated home décor, art and gifts. Direct Responsibilities: • Manage day to day boutique operations • Maintain outstanding customer service and client relationships • Merchandising, tracking and receiving products • Collaborate with owner on product orders. • Squareup Point of Sale inventory control & management • Special events; artist meet and greets & limited time product engagements • Manage one support person and fill-in personnel • Maintain excellent relationships with local artists consigned by boutique • Maintain knowledge of current interior design trends • Management of social media, template website, email and print publication advertisements Qualifications, Experience and Skills • At least 2 years’ experience in managing retail sales or similar experience • Experience in art, home furnishings industry, interior design, a plus • Strong customer service skills • Experience in social media content and template website management, a plus • Mature and professional, regardless of age • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Outstanding organizational and information management skills • Microsoft Office and Squareup Point of Sale experience, preferred • Energetic, committed, resourceful and collaborative professional • A self- starter, needs little direction • Ability to accept constructive criticism, learn and improve from it Schedule: Four days a week including one weekend day each week.
