Residential Remodeling Designer - Design-Build

Reports To: Design Manager Job Purpose: Collaborate with the client through the planning process, develop unique, innovative remodeling solutions, and prepare clear, accurate documentation for Production. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and investment levelsDevelop creative design concepts and detailed work scopes that align with client goalsDocument existing site conditions accuratelyCollaborate with Estimators, Architects, Mosby Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure project successPresent and assist Sales Consultants in selling Design and Construction AgreementsProvide superior customer service and build long-term client relationshipsParticipate in seminars, webinars, and other company events as requested Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Interior Design or Architecture5+ years of experience in Residential Design preferredMinimum of 3 years working one-on-one with clients to determine their design needs, budget, material selections, and executing sales contractsProficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus)Excellent organization, communication, and time management skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to successfully manage multiple projects at a timePerform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous mannerPrior working relationships with vendors and subcontractors is a plusHave & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments around the St. Louis & Southern Illinois areaAbility to work nights and weekends if neededPhysically able to sit and stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.
