Residential Internship

Position Overview: Jessica Schuster Design is looking for an experienced design intern to join the team starting late May-September with the opportunity of continued position should it be the right fit. Responsibilities include: - Assist with organizing an extensive materials library including processing and filing new samples that come in, returning samples to vendors, marking, and categorizing project samples for distribution. - Requesting information from vendors-pricing, lead times, color, size, finish, custom capabilities etc. - Assist with preparing client presentations and budgets, schedules, including design boards and InDesign presentations. - Picking up/delivering materials, drawings, samples, install items to vendors, site etc. - Assisting with project installations, errands, etc. - Coordinating shipping/delivering of packages. - Assisting in CAD drawings, furniture and art elevations, floor plans etc. - Personal assisting errands for principal and typical office management as needed.
