Residential Internship

Jessica Schuster Design is looking for an experienced design intern to join the team from April-September with the opportunity of continued position should it be the right fit. Responsibilities include: Assist with organizing an extensive materials library including processing and filing new samples that come in, returning samples to vendors, marking, and categorizing project samples for distribution. Requesting information from vendors-pricing, lead times, color, size, finish, custom capabilities etc. Assist with preparing client presentations and budgets, schedules, including design boards and InDesign presentations. Picking up/delivering materials, drawings, samples, install items to vendors, site etc. Assisting with project installations, errands, etc. Coordinating shipping/delivering of packages. Assisting in CAD drawings, furniture and art elevations, floor plans etc. Personal assisting errands for principal and typical office management as needed.
