We are seeking a skilled Residential Interiors Lead to manage the residential interior design team and execute the design process for luxury residential design projects. This role requires extensive experience designing custom, new construction, luxury homes. Job Description Project Leadership & Oversight • Lead residential interior design project teams from concept through completion, ensuring cohesive vision and execution. • Maintain project schedules for multiple projects and ensure each phase progresses on time and within scope so that deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to. • Mentor and manage junior design staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their professional development. • Foster and grow strong client relationships by providing consistent, thoughtful communication and service throughout the design process. Fee Proposals • Develop fee proposals and fee agreements for prospective clients. Design Development & Specification • Produce comprehensive architectural interior drawing sets to support construction and documentation needs. • Select and specify interior finishes for inclusion in finish drawings, legends, and schedules. • Select and specify FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) that align with design goals and project requirements. Presentation & Communication • Design and assemble presentation materials that effectively convey the design direction and concept. • Prepare and deliver client presentations that clearly articulate the design vision and rationale. • Communicate regularly with contractors, consultants, product representatives, vendors, installers, and workrooms to ensure project cohesion and progress. Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field. • Minimum 10+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design, with a strong portfolio. • Proficiency in design software such as ACAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Strong knowledge of interior and exterior materials, custom furnishings, textiles, lighting and high-end finishes. • Working knowledge of building codes. • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills. • Ability to • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, builders, and clients in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
