A modern home remodeling and construction services company in Pacific Beach, CA is searching for a skilled Residential Interior Designer to join their team! This exciting role involves leading the design process for high-end residential ADU projects across San Diego, from concept through completion. You ll work closely with the in-house architect and construction teams, ensuring that designs are not only visually stunning but also functional and aligned with client expectations. They are looking for a creative professional with substantial experience in residential interior design, preferably with a background in both design and build environments. Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 / year DOE Residential Interior Designer Requirements: • 5+ years of residential interior design experience, preferably within an interior design or design/build firm • Proven track record of delivering high-end residential designs • Bachelor s degree in Interior Design or a related field • Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp is a plus • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and collaborate with team members • Experience with space planning, color theory, and creating cohesive design concepts • Familiarity with the San Diego market and vendor network is a plus Residential Interior Designer Responsibilities: • Lead design projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client goals • Collaborate with architects and construction teams to integrate design concepts into construction plans • Meet with clients to discuss project vision, space planning, and material selections • Create detailed design presentations and mood boards for client approval • Manage vendor relationships and source high-quality materials • Ensure that design plans are followed during construction, making adjustments as needed • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into design solutions Benefits: • Competitive salary + bonus potential • Health insurance with HMO plans • Simple IRA with a 3% company match • Generous PTO policy and standard paid holidays • Family-owned company • Growth opportunities • Interesting industry • Great office location by the beach • Opportunity to work on exciting, high-end residential projects!
