Residential Home Designer

Oxford Design Haus Lehi, Utah Oxford Design Haus is a residential design studio focused on creating highly customized homes that respond to both our clients’ lifestyles and the unique characteristics of each site. We are looking for an experienced Residential Home Designer to join our team and help bring thoughtful, well-executed homes to life. About the Role This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about residential design and thrives in a collaborative, detail-driven environment. You will take a client’s vision and translate it into a fully developed set of home plans, considering everything from site conditions to spatial flow and architectural character. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle needs, and design goals • Analyze site conditions, including topography, views, orientation, and constraints • Develop creative and functional floor plans and architectural concepts • Build detailed 3D models and construction documents using Revit • Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations using Lumion • Review and mark up drawings using Bluebeam • Coordinate with internal team members, consultants, and builders • Take projects from initial concept through completed construction documents Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in residential home design • Strong proficiency in Revit (required) • Experience with Lumion and Bluebeam • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and detailing • Ability to read and interpret site plans, surveys, and grading information • Excellent design sense with attention to proportion, scale, and materials • Strong communication and client-facing skills • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects What We Offer • Competitive compensation based on experience (DOE) • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Flexible PTO • Opportunity to work on high-end custom residential projects across the U.S. • Collaborative, design-focused studio culture Location Lehi, Utah - In office.
