Residential Designer

The Residential Designer specializes in crafting innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing living spaces, focusing primarily on single-family homes, custom luxury residences, and high-end remodels including kitchens and bathrooms. Working as both an individual contributor and lead designer, this role collaborates closely with external contractors and vendors to deliver exceptional Modern/Contemporary and Traditional designs. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 2020 is essential for creating detailed plans and presentations while ensuring compliance with codes and budget requirements. Responsibilities Develop space plans and design concepts tailored to client needsConduct client consultations and manage communication throughout projectsCreate detailed 3D models and construction drawingsSelect appropriate materials and finishes to suit design intentCoordinate projects with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholdersPrepare compelling presentations to convey design proposalsEnsure designs comply with relevant building codes and regulationsEstimate project budgets and monitor cost controlConduct site visits to oversee project progress and quality Preferred Qualifications 2+ years experience in residential designBachelor's degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureProficient in SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, and 2020 softwareStrong skills in space planning and 3D renderingEffective client communication and time management abilities
