Design and Teach Interior Design Courses Job Description We are seeking a talented educator to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Interior Design. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position that offers a unique opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate students in our CIDA-accredited Interior Design program. Responsibilities • Teach interior design courses, including lecture courses and design studios, with opportunities for community-engaged design projects • Support mentored professional practice and research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students • Engage as a collaborative educator with a close team of faculty and students to maintain a curriculum consistent with program goals and related accreditation guidelines Qualifications • Minimum of a master's degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field • Interior Design expertise related to the CIDA-accredited curriculum in support of undergraduate and graduate Interior Design courses • Potential for research productivity or evidence of professional design practice experience Preferred Qualifications • Evidence of collaborative professional practice, teaching, scholarship/creative activity, and/or service • Evidence of innovative teaching strategies across undergraduate and graduate Interior Design studios Benefits This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and a supportive work environment.
