Remodeling Sales - Interior Design

Job description Based in Skokie, Chi Renovation and Design is a multi-faceted company that combines both interior design and build services, working mostly on residential properties located on the North Shore and in the City of Chicago. We are seeking entrepreneurial minded individuals to add to our ever growing team... This person will work closely with clients to develop, design and sell remodeling and building projects. Responsibilities and requirements for this role: • Daily sales/consultation visits • Knowledge in the construction field • Ability to listen to the client’s requirements • Take measurements at site • Ability to develop schematic concepts and ideas (designs for kitchens & bathrooms) is a plus • Ability to negotiate and manage project estimates • Presentation of initial design concepts for initiating sale • Ability to have clients sign contracts with our company for their renovation project • Good communication skills with both clients and designers Skills required for this role: • Knowledge and experience in the industry of interior design • Computer skills – Microsoft Suite and knowledge of any design tools like SketchUp, AutoCad, Illustrator, 20/20 is a plus • Prepares handmade and digital designs is preferred but not required • Strong sales experience • Entrepreneurial spirit • Ability to take accurate measurements • Good listening skills • Great leadership skills and ability to influence • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills • Communication and presentation skills • Passionate to generate high sales • Self motivated to generate high income for self • Valid driver's license We are willing to train the right individual, so if you have knowledge and experience with construction, project management, design tools, sales experience, and/or interior design experience/certifications, we want to talk to you.
