About this role

Job Summary Carrie Moore Interior Design is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project & Studio Manager to lead project management across our design projects while overseeing daily studio operations. This is a hands-on, in-studio role essential to keeping both our projects and our workspace running smoothly. The position is full-time and based in our Durham, NC studio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys supporting both the creative and operational sides of a growing design studio. Responsibilities • Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and overall project flow • Track progress across multiple projects and ensure alignment with key deadlines • Keep designers organized, accountable, and on schedule throughout each phase • Provide regular project updates and communication to clients • Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining office • Maintain and organize materials library, ensuring samples are up-to-date and easily accessible for the design team • Ensure the studio is organized, functional, and presentation-ready • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Answer phones and check messages • Assist designers and procurement team by obtaining estimates, samples, and quotes for various projects • Support team through performing miscellaneous design assistant duties, including updating spreadsheets and helping assemble presentations • Help plan and implement company social events and outreach • Assist with marketing efforts as needed Requirements • 3+ years of experience in project management or a related field • Familiarity with interior design processes preferred • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills • Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-driven • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Experience with project management tools preferred (Houzz Pro, Studio Manager, etc.) • Proficiency in office software (Google Workspace, Adobe, etc.) Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave Ability to Commute: • Durham, NC 27701 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
