Project Manager (Interior Design - Part Time)

Job Description: Lacquer Design, a residential interior design firm based in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a meticulous and organized part-time Project Manager to assist the company’s principal designer. This role is ideal for individuals with strong project management experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a keen interest in interior design. Core Responsibilities: • Project Management: Oversee and coordinate various interior design tasks to ensure timely and successful project completion. • Proposals: Assist in creating detailed and accurate proposals for vendors and clients. • Pricing and Procurement: Manage the product lifecycle for multiple projects, from estimation to proposals to purchasing, tracking, receiving, and coordinating installation. • Document Updates: Assist in making updates to construction-related documents and project schedules. • Vendor Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with outside vendors. Qualifications: • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing projects, preferably in an interior design or related field. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills via email, text, and phone. • Interior Design: A demonstrated interest in interior design, though prior experience in the field is a plus. • Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, take the initiative to solve problems, and focus on delivering great outcomes for our clients. Preferred Skills: • Technical Skills: Experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup, and/or Photoshop, or a willingness to learn these tools. Familiarity with Studio Designer is a plus.
