About this role
We are seeking a Project Manager to become a part of our design team! This individual will communicate with clients and vendors in the pre and post FF&E sales process. The ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and organize are qualities necessary to be successful. This position manages installations and may require periodic on-location oversight. This position also requires the ability to layout/design spaces with furniture and have a basic understanding of ADA accommodations.
Responsibilities:
• Generates, revises, and manages sales proposals
• Coordinates project from client approval of proposal throughout punch list process
• Places and tracks orders with manufacturers/vendors
• Processes and reviews vendor acknowledgements
• Schedules installations
• Assembles and prepares installation package
• Main point of contact with the customer throughout the post-sales process
• Completes warranty and punch list claims in a timely manner
• Manage chargebacks to vendors for defective products, poor work, late and delayed shipments, etc.
• Be ready to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an interior design firm, furniture dealership, or other related field a plus
• Familiarity with AutoCad, Sketchup, CET, or other design software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of mark-up and profit margin concepts
• Understanding of contract pricing
