Architectural Millwork company in Wendell is looking to add a Project Estimator to our growing team. Position Overview: Our Project Estimators represent a critical component to our success here at MillCase Interiors. They are often the first and main point of contact for our customers. They are responsible for providing detailed proposals based on information provided by the client, general contractor, architect, or designer. They will work closely with our project manager and shop foreman on awarded projects to ensure that project expectations are accurately communicated and reflect the scope of work estimated. Primary Responsibilities: Consult with the client to identify and clarify the Scope of Work Generate accurate Take-offs from architectural drawings and/or field measurements Request estimates and pricing from suppliers for materials needed to complete projects Produce and submit accurate, detailed, and timely bid proposals Assist Shop Foreman as needed with field measurements and assist in producing shop drawings Manage change orders for existing projects Track job costs for awarded projects Preferred candidate to possess: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and shop drawings Ability to perform accurate and detailed Take-offs AutoCAD experience (Preferred) Architectural Millwork/Casework experience (Preferred) Proficiency in Mozaik and/or Vectric CNC software (Preferred) Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely Proficiency in MS Office
