Project Designer

Company Description City Hill Design is a full-service design firm located in Germantown, Tennessee. Our focus is on residential new construction, residential remodels, and interior furnishings. We love our cohesive team, enjoy collaborative work environments, and have a passion for intentional design for everyday life. Location: Memphis area ( Tues–Fri, 8:30-5pm) We’re looking for a creative executor who can carry a project from concept to installation with ownership, precision, and efficiency. Role Description • Lead room-by-room design development under Principal direction • Source furnishings, lighting, rugs, art, and accessories • Build client proposals, presentations, and FFE (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) schedules • Collaborate with the Technical Designer to maintain drawing accuracy • Manage proposals and client approvals • Attend select on-site meetings with clients, contractors, and vendors • Prepare detailed install packets and support installs onsite • Maintain City Hill Design’s voice and team-led identity in all deliverables • Overflow travel may be required for select out-of-state projects, not weekly or constant Qualifications • 1-3 years of professional design experience • Deep knowledge of trade sources • Knowledge of current design trends • 24–26 billable hours/week • Uphold CHD aesthetic and proposal integrity in all sourcing • Internal communication logged and billed in 15-minute increments • High attention to detail and ambitious • Manage several projects at once Software • Ivy • Apple | Numbers + Keynote • Chief Architect • Dropbox Compensation • Compensation depending on level of experience Who Will Thrive Here • Loves design but also the logistics behind bringing it to life • Can source confidently within approved proposals • Enjoys working as part of a tight, accountable team • Wants to scale output, not personal spotlight Please submit portfolio and resume with a cover letter that tells us a little about you! jobs@cityhilldesign.com
