Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Anchorage, AK, for a Project Architect/Intern Architect. In this role, you will oversee and contribute to architectural projects from concept to completion. Key responsibilities include preparing construction documents, managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating with clients and consultants, reviewing submittals, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You will collaborate with an experienced design team while driving excellence in design, sustainability, and project execution.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Architecture, with a focus on design, technical detailing, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM), CAD software, and related design technologies to create and manage project designs efficiently.
• Knowledge of Submittals processes and compliance requirements for various project stages.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification standards.
• Experience in Project Management, including coordinating teams, managing timelines, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Experience in a wide variety of building types and a portfolio that demonstrates design excellence is a plus.
