About this role

Project Architect Sapp Design is seeking a full-time licensed Architect to become part of our Springfield, Missouri team or our Kansas City team. The ideal candidate would have a professional degree, licensed, with 2-10 years of experience, and proficient skills in Revit, rendering, and a portfolio with completed commercial or public projects. Primary Responsibilities · Balance multiple project commitments, sectors, and deadlines. · Participate in planning, designing, illustrating, & presenting project ideas and vision. · Compiling storyboards and material selection based on client needs in preparation for client presentations. · Coordinate with project consultants for interior design, materials, and interior architecture solutions. · Work with the project team to ensure the project meets the Owner’s Vision and Sapp Design goals. · Collaborate on a wide variety of project types and sizes from conception through construction. · Assistance with preparation and presentation of construction drawings, 3-part specifications, and coordinating details and dimensions. · developing and refining design concepts, renderings, and working on projects in all design phases. · Knowledge of construction documents and detailing. · Managing the financial aspects of running a design project on time and on budget. Desired Qualifications · Accredited Degree in Architecture · Licensed, required. · Proficient in 3D modeling and rendering: Sketch-Up, Rhino, Enscape or other platforms. · Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of graphic media including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. · Proficiency with Revit 2021, required. · Strong verbal, organizational, and written communication skills. · Strong presentation skills. · Strong consultant coordination, drawing, and design skills, including experience in the construction administration phase. · Team-focused attitude, willing to assist others as necessary. · Ability to create new ideas both independently and in collaboration.
