Professor of Interior Design

We are seeking a highly qualified academic designer to join our team as a professor of interior design. About the Position This is a full-time position that requires teaching undergraduate studio and lecture courses in design communication, design history, building technologies, and/or studio design. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in interior design, architecture, or a related discipline, with at least one degree in interior design or architecture. Responsibilities • Teaching undergraduate studio and lecture courses in design communication, design history, building technologies, and/or studio design • Participating in departmental and university service • Engaging in innovative teaching and curriculum development and assessment Requirements • Terminal degree in interior design, architecture, or a related discipline • At least one degree in interior design or architecture • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
