Holiday Decorator / Installation Contractor Memorable Moments | Birmingham, AL Metro Memorable Moments is a full-service, holiday and special-occasion decorating company serving Birmingham and surrounding suburbs. We provide clients with a hands-off decorating experience, from design and sourcing through installation and teardown. We are building our contractor network for the 2026 holiday season and are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with an eye for design and experience decorating residential spaces. This is a contract/flexible seasonal opportunity, with the potential for recurring projects throughout the holiday season and future special occasions. What You'll Do Depending on the project, contractors may assist with: Christmas tree decorating and styling Garland and ribbon installation Mantel and staircase decorating Tablescape and tabletop styling Entryway and room styling Installing wreaths and other seasonal décor Unpacking, organizing, and handling décor Shopping or picking up décor and supplies when needed Removing holiday décor after the season Taking before-and-after project photos Following project-specific design plans and instructions Leaving the client's space clean and organized What We're Looking For The ideal contractor is: Experienced with holiday decorating, event styling, interior styling, floral design, or a related field Detail-oriented and able to execute a specific aesthetic Comfortable working in clients' homes Reliable and punctual Professional and personable Comfortable working independently Able to safely lift and move boxes of décor Comfortable using ladders for appropriate decorating tasks Able to provide photos of previous decorating, styling, or event work Professional decorating experience is preferred, but strong natural design ability and a portfolio of personal work may also be considered. Compensation Compensation will be determined based on experience, skill level, project responsibilities, and scope of work. Please include your desired hourly or project rate when applying. We are particularly interested in contractors who are available for multiple projects throughout November and December. Service Area Projects will primarily be located throughout the Birmingham metropolitan area, including Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Chelsea, Greystone, and surrounding communities. Reliable transportation is required.
