Role description: Arcadis Inc, (Formally known as CallisonRTKL) seeks a Senior Workplace Strategist and Change Management professional. The position is focused on leading a team that consults with clients and organizations to provide solutions that produce meaningful change, promote innovation and collaboration within the work environment. Working closely with the client organizations, the Senior Workplace Strategist develops solutions that aim to align the work environment and work practices with organizational business goals and objectives at the site, campus and portfolio levels. Solutions can be inclusive of the “business case for change” and the development and roll out of change management programs. The Strategist should be well versed with working experience in the areas of occupancy planning, design, functional program, and workplace standards development incorporating both traditional and alternative workplace strategies. Role accountabilities: • People Leadership: Recruit, mentor, coach, and manage team performance to align with corporate goals. Service Delivery: Lead projects in space planning, interior design, furniture specification, and workplace strategy. • Workplace Strategy: Analyze client needs, provide solutions, and implement alternative workplace strategies. • Project Management: Develop schedules, budgets, and lead milestone meetings to ensure timely delivery. • Relationship Management: Build strong client, industry, and internal relationships to support integrated service delivery. • Reporting & Communication: Provide updates on project progress, financials, and studio alignment. • Financial Management: Ensure adherence to financial policies and manage program budgets effectively. • Resource Planning: Oversee resource allocation, manage delivery risks, and ensure quality assurance. • Business Development: Drive repeat business, support strategy, and assist with proposals and fee development. • Employee Engagement: Ensure team satisfaction through leadership, onboarding, and professional development. Qualifications & Experience: • University or College Degree (Bachelors level or greater). • Education and certification in Interior Design. Training and experience in the following are an asset: Change Management, Facilities Management or related fields. (15+ years of experience in the area of interior design, workplace strategy) • Excellent communication skills. English / bilingual is an asset. (Experience in customer service and client-facing activities) • Effective leadership skills and management skills. (1-5 years in a managerial capacity) • Skilled in strategic and critical thinking. (Experience working on workplace transformation initiatives in a consulting capacity) • Has excellent relationship building and relationship management skills. (Experience managing customer relationships) • Excellent influencing and conflict resolution skills. (Experienced in leading a team) • Excellent problem-solving skills. (Experience in facilitating workshops and other engagements for visioning, problem-solving and or requirements gathering and discovery) • Business development skills including solution development, proposal writing, pricing of services. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $118,000 - $190,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
