Principal - Architecture

We are seeking a Principal- Architecture to provide leadership across project delivery, client relationships, business development, and people management in our St. Louis office. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who is energized by driving new client business, cultivating relationships, and leading projects as principal in charge, while mentoring and developing high-performing teams and executing strategic initiatives. Requirements for our Principal- Architecture: Bachelors degree or higher in Architecture (NAAB-accredited program preferred)Licensed Architect in Missouri; Meets NCARB standards for licensure in other states10+ years of experience in an architecture or commercial interiors firm, including business development and revenue generationProven people management experience, including mentoring, performance leadership, and team developmentExperience with Revit, Lumion and/or Enscape; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); FF&E, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, signage, color, and materialsWorking knowledge of building design, codes, specifications, constructability, design trends, and construction methodologies Responsibilities for our Principal- Architecture: Serve as principal in charge on key projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from proposal through completionLead client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for major engagementsEnsure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and financial performance goalsDrive quality control, risk management, and successful project outcomesExecute business development strategies and cultivate relationships with clients and strategic partnersIdentify new business opportunities and support firm growth initiativesLead and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performance and collaborative cultureSupport execution of strategic and operational plans in alignment with firm leadershipMonitor performance trends and adapt strategies to meet business and market demands
