JOB TITLE: Part-Time Retail Sales Specialist LOCATION: Marin REPORTS TO: Store Manager COMPENSATION: $20-$23/Hour + Monthly Commission Plan About Us: Shoppe Amber Interiors is a vibrant home and lifestyle store founded by Amber Lewis, a passionate interior designer, and her partner, Mike. About the Role: As a Part-Time Retail Sales Specialist, your focus is on creating an inviting atmosphere for every customer. You will work closely with a team to deliver exceptional service while fostering strong relationships that drive sales through effective communication. Key Responsibilities: • Provide a client-first experience in-store, over the phone, and through email. • Engage with customers proactively to build loyalty and enhance retention. • Perform daily operational tasks accurately, promptly reporting any issues. • Process transactions smoothly and offer insightful product information at checkout. • Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure appealing product displays. • Develop and uphold extensive product knowledge, knowing where to find additional information. • Assist the Store Manager with various tasks as needed. • Provide constructive feedback from a client-oriented perspective to the Store Manager. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years retail experience; experience in home decor or interiors is preferred. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive is advantageous. • Experience with Shopify POS, NetSuite, Slack, Gorgias, or Endear is a plus. • Must live in or near Marin and have reliable transportation. • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs using appropriate methods. • Availability to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.
