About the Role: As a Part-Time Retail Sales Representative, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and prioritize their needs. You are driven to build meaningful relationships through outstanding customer service and effective communication, contributing to our overall sales success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service in-store, by phone, and via email to create a client-first experience.Utilize provided tools to actively engage clients, building loyalty and driving retention.Accurately execute daily operational tasks and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager.Efficiently process POS transactions, providing insightful product knowledge during checkout.Ensure product presentation meets visual merchandising standards for optimal shopping experience.Maintain strong product knowledge and know where to seek additional information as necessary.Assist the Store Manager with various tasks as assigned to support store operations.Provide constructive feedback with a focus on customer experience to the Store Manager.Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, preferably in home decor or interior design.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive is preferred.Experience with Shopify POS, NetSuite, Slack, Gorgias, or Endear is a plus.Must reside in or near Marin and have reliable transportation.Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs, using proper techniques.Available to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.Key Skills: Exceptional customer service skills across all communication channels.Collaborative team player who excels in a dynamic, supportive environment.Strong eye for merchandising with attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Effective problem solver capable of troubleshooting independently.Benefits: Commission: 0.25% based on achieving store sales goals.Paid Time Off: Sick Time & Volunteer Hours.Employee Discount: 40% off at Shoppe Amber Interiors both online and in-store.Compensation details: $20-$25 Hourly Wage Location: Marin
