About this role
Interior Design Firm in South Jersey, seeking experienced Bookkeeper. In
office position, no remote hours. Seeking part time hours, approximately 20
hrs a week, Monday - Friday. As part of our team you will be responsible for
the overall running of the accounting operations as well as a myriad of other
details. Looking for a self starter who relishes the opportunity to prioritize
your time, manage your own efforts and to take satisfaction in an efficiently
run office. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Overall
accounting system management Reconciliation of multiple accounts (ie. Bank,
Credit Cards) Matching invoices, posting invoices and cutting checks Preparing
weekly and monthly statements Preparing and filing of local and state taxes
(multiple states) Payroll Calculation Bid and Contract Writing Assist
president in daily tasks Answering phones and communicating with staff
Qualifications Required: Quickbooks experience a MUST Pro 2019 version Excel
and Word experience a MUST Accounting Experience Computer proficiency
including basic troubleshooting Must be a proven self starter able to work
without supervision Ability to multitask Ability to pay attention to detail
with little error Excellent interpersonal communication skills written and
verbal Organization skills to maintain files and retrieve information
Willingness to work as part of a team
