Outdoor Space Designer

Job Overview Landscape architects design outdoor spaces for clients, combining artistic vision with technical expertise. This involves creating site and landscape designs, producing construction documents in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, conducting on-site observations, and participating in client presentations. • Create site and landscape designs for client review and approval. • Develop construction documents including hardscape layout plans, grading/drainage plans, planting, lighting and irrigation plans, and construction details. • Monitor compliance with plans through periodic on-site observation of construction activities. • Participate in client presentations, public outreach, and regulatory meetings to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial, education, institutional, and complex single-family environments, a BLA from an accredited program, knowledge of local plant materials, climate, and planting practices, and advanced skills in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office Suite.
