Operations Controller for an Interior Design Firm

The Operations Controller position is responsible for ensuring efficiency in the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role requires extensive knowledge of financial and operational strategies, excellent communication and leadership skills, Applicants should be highly analytical and capable of developing realistic and positive solutions to operational issues that arise in their job. Job Duties - Daily accounting activities including payroll, insurances, and auxiliary HR Overseeing the company’s operations, scheduling, marketing, and branding initiatives Financial reporting Cash Flow management Budgeting and Forecasting Coordinate departments to ensuring company’s deadlines are met Assist in achieving company goals Establish and maintain financial control systems Maintaining relationships with clients and vendors Requirements - • Five years’ experience working in finance or related field is require • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Monday, Quickbooks, and Studio Designer software • Demonstrated ability to manage all Accounting functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Skilled in Financial Statement Preparation • Knowledge of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven leadership skills and ability to supervise a team • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to accounting and finance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off Physical Setting: • Office Schedule: • 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: • Performance bonus Ability to Commute: • Yarmouth, ME 04096 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Yarmouth, ME 04096: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
