Office Furniture Interior Designer

An office design firm located near Robbinsville, NJ is seeking an Interior Designer/Specifier to join their team. This person will be responsible for assisting in the design and layout of interior spaces, specifically focusing on furniture selection and placement. Experience with AutoCAD and 20/20 CAP Studio is required. Will provide design and Specification support for to the sales team and management of a contract office furniture & interiors dealership, All design personnel are responsible for space planning, specification, color selections, renderings and marketing. Basic responsibilities include workload management, representing design in sales presentations, professionalism, and accuracy of department, etc. Job responsibilities: Review projects with sales teams; Space Planning via AutoCAD; Create 2D and 3D Plans with matching specification; Create specifications using CAP; Finish Selections using multiple materials (Furniture, Paint, Flooring, lighting). Job requirements: Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
