The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. This person will be responsible for the accuracy of furniture quotes and large orders. Responsibilities Organize projects and assist our design staff in ways that optimize production Assist with creation of design proposals Order verification and Entry of Orders Distribute information to designers and clients in a timely manner Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity... of information Schedule and plan meetings and appointments Maintain the design Library, order samples, communicate with manufacturer reps Respond to design requests or issues in a timely manner Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues Perform receptionist duties when needed Meet with and greet customers in a professional, friendly and courteous manner Skills Excellent attention to detail Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role Excellent organizational and time management skills Working knowledge of office equipment Thorough understanding of office management procedures Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Publisher and more AutoCAD Skills extremely helpful Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18. 00 - $20. 00 per hour; References are required.
