Job Description Merge Home is a boutique interior design studio at the heart of Atlanta's design district. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our studio operations and help keep projects moving smoothly behind the scenes. This is an in-house administrative role designed for someone who is a quick learner, multifaceted, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment. You’ll play a key role in procurement tracking, vendor coordination, and maintaining our project systems—freeing up the design team to focus on design execution and client experience. THIS ROLE REQUIRES IN PERSON AVAILABILITY FROM 10:00AM - 6:00PM IN MIDTOWN ATLANTA, REQUEST FOR REMOTE WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responsibilities The Office Administrator will support the studio in the following areas: Procurement & Project Tracking Track procurement across multiple projects using spreadsheets and internal systems Maintain accurate logs of quotes, orders, confirmations, lead times, shipping updates, and deliveries Ensure procurement documentation is organized and easily accessible for the design team Assist in resolving order issues (damages, missing items, backorders, etc.) in coordination with vendors Vendor Relations & Coordination Communicate with vendors regarding product details, lead times, pricing, availability, and shipping Request quotes, order confirmations, and tracking details Follow up consistently and professionally to keep procurement timelines accurate Maintain vendor contact lists and update vendor documentation as needed Studio Organization & Design Library Support Assist with maintaining and organizing the sample/design library Support sourcing and ordering of design samples (fabric, tile, flooring, paint decks, etc.) Keep sample records up to date and help manage sample returns, storage, and categorization Client / Project Owner Coordination Support communication and scheduling coordination with project owners or clients as needed Help manage project paperwork, approvals, notes, and general administrative follow-through Ensure client-facing materials and project records are organized and accurate General Studio Support Assist the Owner and design team with a variety of operational and admin tasks as needed Support organization of digital folders, files, and templates Provide assistance with small tasks that keep the studio running smoothly (printing, tracking, organizing, etc.) Maintain accurate logs of quotes, orders, confirmations, lead times, shipping updates, and deliveries Ensure procurement documentation is organized and easily accessible for the design team Assist in resolving order issues (damages, missing items, backorders, etc.) in coordination with vendors Qualifications We’re looking for someone organized, dependable, and capable of learning quickly. The ideal candidate will have: Required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) Comfortable with spreadsheets, formatting, organization, filters/sorting, formulas Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep documentation accurate Strong follow-up habits and consistency (able to manage many small moving pieces) Professional communication skills (email, phone, vendor/client interactions) Ability to multitask and prioritize in a creative environment with deadlines Preferred / Recommended Experience in administration, office operations, procurement, project coordination, or related work Familiarity with the interior design industry, procurement workflows, or vendor-based purchasing Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign) strongly recommended Strong technical literacy Comfortable navigating shared drives, cloud folders, PDFs, spreadsheets, and learning new software quickly Strong problem-solving mindset (able to figure things out independently while asking smart questions) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47,439.59 - $57,131.55 per year Benefits: Paid time off Experience: Interior Design Related: 2 years (Required) Procurement management: 1 year (Preferred) Office Administration: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Atlanta, GA 30318 (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
