Cabinet Maker / Assembler – Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker / Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to craft high-quality custom cabinets and furniture. This role requires proficiency with power and hand tools, a keen eye for design and precision, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Construct, assemble, and stage cabinets and furniture based on specifications and design plans
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and precise cuts
• Operate power tools and personal hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and finish materials
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety protocols
Qualifications
• Proven experience in furniture/cabinet making & woodworking
• Must have and maintain a set of personal hand tools
• Skilled in using both power tools (e.g., saws, drills) and hand tools (e.g., chisels, sanders)
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• High attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
