Job description: MID LEVEL/INTERMEDIATE DESIGNER Alchemy Design Studio, a boutique interior design firm, is on the lookout for a talented Interior Designer to join our team. We specialize in luxury residential projects and are seeking a creative who thrives in delivering exceptional experiences with a keen focus on materiality & aesthetics. Key Responsibilities: • Design Expertise: Collaborate on the design development of high-end residential projects, contributing to space planning, material selections and creative solutions. Support the preparation of client presentations, drawings and visual materials. • Client Relations: Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design concepts and assisting in incorporating client feedback. Help maintain strong client relationships to ensure a high level of satisfaction throughout the project. • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating the procurement process, including product sourcing, order tracking, and vendor communication. Support logistics, installations, and quality control to ensure design intent is executed accurately and on schedule. • On-site Support: Provide on-site support during furniture deliveries, installations, and custom work. Attend site visits and client meetings as needed to help ensure projects are completed to a high standard. • Collaboration: Work closely with Senior Designers, leadership, the Studio Librarian, and vendors to support smooth project workflows and contribute to a collaborative studio environment. Qualifications: • 3-5 + years of experience in high-end residential and commercial design, with a focus on luxury and custom design elements. • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. • Strong proficiency with design including ArchiCAD (required), Enscape, Sketchup & procurement software, including Studio Designer (or similar). • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. • Strong vendor relationships and an understanding of procurement, logistics, and installation processes preferred. • Ability to travel day-to-day and participate in physical on-site installations when necessary. • Compensation is commensurate with experience. • Come join a growing compassionate and dedicated cross functional creative team!
