**IATESTA STUDIO** is a home furniture and lighting manufacturer located in Stevensville, Maryland 10 minutes outside of Annapolis. Our team of talented Craftspeople and Artisans create beautiful products that are handmade in the USA and sold to top interior designers throughout the world. We are looking for a Master Upholsterer. Our Upholstery team thrives in a creative environment working on chairs, benches, cushions, headboards, and other unique projects. **CHECK OUT OUR AMAZING ARTISANS, CRAFTSPEOPLE AND FURNITURE FEATURED ON INSTAGRAM!** **RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED if you live outside of the Eastern Shore / Annapolis / Baltimore / Washington DC region!** **_The following skills and abilities are required and will ensure your success as a Master Upholsterer:_** \\- Minimum 5 years experience in high end upholstery. \\- Wide knowledge of all styles of upholstery work throughout the entire process, including frame construction techniques, making templates, insides, foam packages, upholstery components, cushions, and trim. \\- Excellent detail-oriented tailoring skills while working with a wide range of client’s fabrics and leathers. \\- Ability and willingness to upholster the whole job start to finish. \\- Ability and willingness to articulate your skill set to others while training them to upholster. \\- Ability to perform multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines. \\- Understanding of drawings, sketches, and written instructions. \\- Good communication skills, both oral and written. \\- Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards. \\- Have an understanding of productivity and quality standards, and set the bar and pace for others in the department. \\- Have a good attitude and positive vibes. \\- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment. \\- Ability to stand for long periods, and bend and twist as required to upholster furniture. \\- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance on a regular basis. \\- Available to work **FULL-TIME, onsite in our Studio, 7am - 3:45pm Monday through Friday. **We don’t offer remote positions. **_BENEFITS AVAILABLE UPON ELIGIBILITY_** \\- Medical, dental, and vision insurance \\- Paid holidays and paid time off \\- And other great perks!
