Skills • 2+ years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture retailer • Strong organization and self-motivation skills • Proficiency in Google Suites and/or Microsoft Office applications • Ability to manage large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers • Experience with CRMs/POS and design software such as Salesforce, DesignFiles, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit preferred • Excellent communication and relationship management skills Responsibilities • Maintain luxury experience standards and provide an inviting guest experience • Manage and foster relationships with design clients, prospecting for new customers • Meet complex needs of clients, including large-scale luxury and trade projects • Conduct virtual, in-home, and in-store design appointments • Utilize design software tools to drive profitability and growth • Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets • Participate in operational store activities as needed • Share innovative ideas to continuously improve team operations • Engage in a dynamic work environment with rapid product changes Qualifications • Professional portfolio required • Familiarity with Perigold supplier brands and custom programs a plus • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects • Passion for design and exceptional customer service • Flexibility in availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma equivalent specializing in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field Experience Requirements • 2+ years of design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture retailer • Experience in a fast-paced and changing environment Why work in Houston, TX Houston is a vibrant and diverse city known for its rich culture, thriving economy, and warm climate.
