We are a prestigious high-end design firm seeking a talented and detail-oriented Luxury Interior Project Designer to join our dedicated team in Culver City. If you're passionate about creating exceptional residential spaces and have 4-7 years of design experience, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead client presentations, ensuring all materials are formatted, organized, and printed to perfection.
• Develop effective space planning and layout designs guided by Project Managers and Principals.
• Collaborate on custom product management, handling all measurements, hardware selections, finishes, and material types.
• Accurately price sourced products and maintain updated pricing documentation.
• Assist with budget implementation as directed by Project Managers.
• Ensure accuracy in all orders through meticulous review processes.
• Research new products and materials, including furniture, accessories, and color palettes.
• Follow up with vendors regarding orders and lead times.
• Work with the expediter to coordinate timely and precise vendor deliveries.
• Lead the process for CFAs and RMAs.
• Support the development of comprehensive project schedules.
• Manage various tasks seamlessly alongside Project Managers.
• Attend site visits and client meetings as required.
• Be responsive across time zones to address installation issues or urgent project needs.
• Guide and motivate design assistants and interns, fostering collaboration and professional development.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive mindset.
• Assist with warehouse and merchandising coordination for smooth logistics and timely installations.
• Prepare for client installations and willing to travel domestically.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
• 3-5 years' experience in interior design, with a focus on residential design and space planning.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
• Familiarity with Studio Designer or similar software, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
Design Skills:
• Exceptional sketching and space planning abilities.
Communication:
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with professional negotiation capabilities.
Organization:
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail.
Problem-Solving:
• Resourceful with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Work Style:
• Independent yet team-oriented, proactive, and initiative-driven.
Client Focus:
• Dedicated to delivering luxurious experiences.
Work Schedule:
This hybrid position requires working on-site 4 days a week in our Culver City office, with 1 remote workday each week. Ideal candidates should be comfortable collaborating in-person with team members while managing independent tasks remotely.
